Brepols から出ている中世女性史シリーズ、Medieval Women: Text & Contexts の7巻目。なぜかこの巻だけ装丁の色が違う。
ワニーのマリに関するテクストを網羅的に収録＆英訳。
『ワニーのマリ伝』は、今回同様、すでに Margot King によって英訳が出されていますし、『補伝』も同じく Hugh Feiss による英訳があります。
さらに仏訳も Jean Miniac によって1997年に出ています。

ただ、今回のように写本伝承の分析や、『伝』以外のマリに関する史料を英訳して収録した、丁寧な作品はありません。
マリ典礼なんて、けっこう苦労してゲットしたブツなんですが、それも入ってます。
ここまでやらんでも…と思わせるほどの出来で、嬉しいやら悲しいやら…。
